Always TV shows. They can't expect me to have more than 20 minutes attention span. I barely reach that.

Rol summed up my opinion on the matter pretty well

TV shows by a mile. I'd take a long enjoyable TV show over a short enjoyable movie any day.
good tv shows beats movies my miles and miles.
Love when tv shows continue a story throughout, and dislike when each little episode is its own thing (only works for comedy shows).

Same here. I was about to post the same thing and then I saw his post and I was like "Well, nothing more to add, I guess".
I mean compare the impact that the death of character in a movie has to a character from a tv series you've "known" for "years". After watching the Red Wedding episode on GOT I felt sad for over a day and didn't know what was wrong with me.

I think that really depends on how the movie / TV series is structured. To this day I still cry with Wilson's death scene in the movie Cast Away.

I agree. I just think with movies it can be intense but it doesn't last long. With tv shows you watch the next episode or wait for the next episode to come out and you're like "damn, I can't believe x is no longer part of the team". I'm still not over Green Ranger losing his powers and not being part of the team.

TV shows. You get so much deeper into the storyline IMO
Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.
Movies for a concise story without all the filler side quests, or general plain awesomeness. TV shows can't beat the rush movies can provide in a home theater. TV shows for something easy to watch since you already know the characters and most of what to expect.
Btw you don't have to watch movies in 1 go. I watch many movies in 40 to 60 minute chunks since I got games to play too!
Best new tv show is Mr Robot. Great first season with minimal filler (still has some though)
I watched Predestination today, perfect story driven movie. No need to drag it out.
Best stories are still in books, yet they also make me doze off quite easily. Makes interesting dreams.
I don't watch much of anything. Though, they both have their ups and downs.
For comedies, they're terrible in both movies and TV nowadays. I'm fine with Sanford and Son. Redd Fox can't be beat.
Superheroes: I've tried the flash out, and I gotta say that superhero movies grab my attention more than the shows.
Either way, quality of many things have decreased.
