The problem I have is RSS feeds, where they can just put a spoiler in the headline, so ridiculously annoying. The only way around it is just to not read any news at all?

My main problem is with TV shows, as living the UK I always get them at least a day late, so when I wake up and there's a headline "Did X really die in the Walking Dead" even leaving the X there still slightly spoils the episode for me

For the past few years I've been doing a fairly good job of avoiding AC spoilers. I watch the announcement trailer and then that's it. I know I'm going to enjoy the game, I'm a massive AC fanboy, so I don't really need to inform myself. For most other games, however, I do actually need to make a decision about buying it, so that's when you need to decide which sites you trust and which you don't

But really the highest stakes game is Star Wars Episode VII. I'm seeing it day 2 in the UK, but it will already have been around for a while then. I'm not convinced not using the internet for a week is entirely practical
