Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo DOES care about Greenpeace. New plan is indefinite times better!

Yeah, this fails. They have by far the most 'green' console this generation.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

moar funny pictures

There is a big difference between power consumption of the console and environmental practices of the company. Depending on the specifics, the latter can be a lot worse than the former.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Except Nintendo's environmental practices are no different than Sony's or Microsoft's... Greenpeace just won't do any research on their own, and power consumption is a big issue.

For reference: The average american household runs about 1000 watts of power at a time.  A PS3 uses 20% of the energy of an entire household.

Again though, it's ridiculous that people are considering Greenpeace a legitimate environmental group.  They barely qualify as more than terrorists, and they give a bad name to real environmental groups.

It is obvious, Greenpeace can not find anything to confirm squat. Therefore they just give nothing to N except points for the things they can find. (i think this is just the layziest way of looking ever... looks like they can not get further than just google.)  I hope they stop saying that they failed themselves and blame someone for it.

Jeez what a noobs in GreePeace.

Nintendo got 0 because they didn't give them information, I thought this was well known by now o_O

Greenpeace is an anti-freedom organization that exists to reduce freedom. I couldn't care less what it thinks about anything.

Greenpeace:

I glad to see someone stand up to Greenpeace for a change. It brings back visuals of Bruce Willis hitting golf balls at them from his oil rig in Armageddon. Who made them the authority to run around telling people what they should and should not do. I am glad that Nintendo denied them access to their files and got a 0, it made me laugh.
