Wow, so a simple thread discussing how "Xenoblade Chronicles X could be the most ambitious game on the Wii U" has really taken on a life of its own. The question I'm asking here is nothing more or less than which game did you like more on the Wii, Skyward Sword or Xenoblade Chronicles?

Personally, I'm excited to see how far down this rabbit hole goes.

That's not the question.

Unfortunately SS is my least favorite Zelda game and Xenoblade is one of my favorite rpg of all time so for me xenoblade is far more interesting. i spent more than 150 hours on that game and still havent got all the highest skill book yet.

sry for my bad english - it is not my 1st language

An interesting one, as I only played Xenoblade on the 3DS, and I did seriously enjoy both of them, but I'm giving my nod to Xenoblade. Skyward's overworld traversal system was terrificly boring, I found the latter third of the game tiring, and the game was overall more linear than I like my Zeldas. I loved the dungeons though, and the story's inarguably one of the best and most impactful despite not straying too far from the basic framework of "Link saves Zelda and the world". Some of Xenoblade's side quests were less than amazing and the difficulty was a tad sporadic, but I enjoyed the game all throughout.

The question is supposed to be hard. That's what keeps it interesting. ;)

Same. It's the first jrpg I've ever FORCED a friend to play. It's that good.

Played both - have to say Skyward sword way ahead.

Xenoblade's story, music and voice acting is fantastic but the gameplay is so bad.

Skyward Sword's motion controls and Fi are annoying but overall the quality is way better than XC.

It's those reason's you posted that you liked about Xenoblade (and the fact I thought the battle system was quite enjoyable), that I choose Xenoblade Chronicles. Skyward Sword gave me what I expected, granted with a more engaging story than I expected, but the re use of dungeons was eh. I was actually impressed with the motion controls too.

On the other hand, Xenoblade Chronicles had FAR surpassed every expectation I had. The story was amazing, the cast of characters you really felt for and had TONS of personallity, the music was absolutely top notch, the voice acting is some of the best in the jrpg genre, the game had great pacing, everything just worked in that game IMO. There was absolutey no "weak link" ;).

I... haven't played Xenoblade Chronicles, so I'm not supposed to be voting here. But meh, screw it. I know for a fact that Xenoblade is going to win the poll, and I also know for a fact that whenever I do get to play it I won't like it as much as Skyward Sword, so whatever.

Skyward Sword.

I'm anticipating things like this, and I'm fine with it. You aren't going to be the only one who hasn't played XC.

Note that I didn't say it was hard per say; I like Skyward, but I love Xenoblade. Just said it was interesting to think about.
