Good job to MS for the changes because it looks really fast. And the ps4 is still pretty fast.
Thats pretty cool. Almost 50% faster in every shown aspect. Wonder how it fares in other aspects such as boot up and switching between applications. Hard to believe theres an os faster than PS4s but grate to MS if the theam is as strong throughout its offering. Thats fast as fuck
To be fair, it looks like a lot of those tests have as much to do with the layout of the UI as it has to do with the speed of it. (ie. It seems like the friends menu is the first thing that opens up when you go to the Xbox menu? (not sure about that) while on the PS4 you have to scroll to find it). So it depends a bit on the action you want to perform I guess. Either way, now we're at the point where both are pretty fast, so it doesn't matter too much. The difference between 2 and 4 seconds isn't as noticeable as the difference between 4 and 8 seconds.

Yeah, both are UI's are insanely fast compared to my PS3 lol

While I like the speed increase. I have had to reset my Xbox one plenty of times since the update.
Unless they can fix these issues I personally don't think it's ready for live.

Omg opening the store on ps3 is such a hassle.
Technically everything is even much faster on xbox one if you use Cortana, in fact you don't even have to pause the game.
