Err... you realise basically EVERY company does this? xD

Morrisons/Tesco all have their own brands of these products too.

Even Cadbury's sell Jaffa Cakes....

Bit unfair to single Aldi out!

Did I say they didn't? But Aldis are by far the worst offender.

Nah the only difference is Aldi don't stock the big brand version.

OT: Motorswarm

They sell mostly medion hardware, don't even know if it's an aldi brand. But they also sell e.g. Moto g or sometimes ps3. So they don't need to ripoff anything. But if they so : Albrecht the german car engineer who needs to save princess Merkel from the evil King of Zion.

No, Medion and Aldi were partners since the '90s, but Medion was independent and is now part of Lenovo since 2011. Motorola is also part of Lenovo since 2014:

The thing is Aldi brands also imitate the packaging of the big brands for their products. Almost all their snack and cerals is name and designed to get as close to bigger brand as they dare. The list goes on. Aero, Nutri-grain (their version is called "fruit and grain"), the cereals, nuts and they even have a lager designed to look like Stella Artois.

That's funny. Where I come from Aldi is definitely not known for their 'branding' but just for their cheaper products. Lesser quality for some but cheaper.
