Forums - Gaming - If Aldi made video games, what would they rip off and what would it be called?

I'm sure most of us are aware of the ever-expanding supermarket that is Aldi. Aldi is well known for cheap products and ripping off famous brands by slightly changing the name, logo and and packaging design to come up with an almost identical and cheaper version of the brand they are ripping off.

So if Aldi turned it''s attention to gaming, what would they come up with.

Charted: Cakes for a Tune - You play as Stephan Wake, a musician traversing a well trodden path all over the to well discovered places like Tenerife an Benidorm to play music for cakes. Will Wake play well enough to survive, or will he be left in the gutter to die.

Mall of Duty - You are the best Mall cop in town. Take on the badest teenagers and chase out stray dogs to retain the honor of Mall of the year. Let the kids push you around and you might find yourself demoted to toilet duties.

Mod of War - Your play as a famous VGC moderator who goes my the name of Smeags. He vows to cleanse the forums of fanboy scum. Can he do it, can he stay impartial and can he come out at the end of it with integrity intact. Each action has a consequence!

Yeah......you have Aldi in Europe?

We have like an aldi on every block now. Rumor they are going to start making larger stores, Walmarts worst nightmare. Thank god, I hate working for Wal-Mart, the goodwill of the Department store world.

As for your question......ummm....ummmm.....

Ii think Aldi is German and was in the UK a long time before it hit the states. Aldi used to be a joke 10+ years ago but in recent years it's gone massive.

I love Aldi. We can go in with $150, and leave with tons of decent food.

SmallLargeLand - You play as Bagboy. That is all.

Do you have to pay 5p every time you use him?

Aldi is german.
Its focus is on value, not services or the widest selection of foods.
But you can find some really good deals there usually, and its a great place to shop.

Efficiently ran like you expect a German company to be ran. You people that work on the til stacking shelves when it's quiet. I've never seen more than 5 Aldi workers at the store by me, sometimes just 2.

I don't know what they'd name it but I bet it would be 100% on disc, 100% tested, no day one patches and would cost $49.99.

lol! Where'd this idea come from XD

Never heard of them
