Not in my eyes. It is like a western bastard child that a japanese exec had on a trip th the US lol.

It's the odd one out. why isn't there like 2-4 more western Nintendo owned studios?

I can't wait to play Xenoblade X and Fates, but I wouldn't put Hyrule Warriors, FE: A, SSBU, ALBW in the same basket as the one I mentioned. To me, those games are Nintendo as its finest. I've never seen in any other game, from any company, so much love and effort put than in those games. The SMG soundtrack is one the best musical pieces I ever heard.

That's not true. I see people loving Super Mario Maker, Super Mario 3D World, Splatoon, Yoshi's Wooly World and Mario Kart 8.

They developed in first person view because Nintendo said so. And they are using Nintendo IP's, so???

Games don't have to be "epic" to be great.

Heck, I think games like Splatoon are pretty epic, even if it's not on the same scale of games like Metroid.

Do you consider SM3DWorld an epic game like Super Mario Galaxy? Because that's the subject of the thread, not wheter it is considered 3D or not.

I've been asking for a new and different IP and we got Splatoon. I can't complain. Sure, they could do more, but that's definitely a great step to the right direction as far as I'm concerned.
