I don't make the rules. I'm just trying to keep the playing field level on this place.

Actually P4G is one of the reasons I stated those arbitary factors. It's not counted in many threads discussing Vita games because of the PS2 original. "Port".

To me, any game on any system counts, especially if it's a handheld release as opposed to a home console release. I can't take my PS4 or Wii U on my commute to and from work.

It's always counted, I've never seen someone dismiss it.

You can't have been in many Vita discussion threads on this site then. I've not known a system so unecessarily shat on since the GameCube.

What? The Vita is either being ignored (mostly by Sony themselves lol) or praised on the internet/here. The GC gets mostly praise these days. It's the Wii U that gets almost universal shit from just about anyone.

Vita has had like 75% of 3rd party support in 2015 in Japan (I'll share the precise data when the year is over). 3DS can't compete anymore.

3DS has about 75% of the software sales in Japan though. ;)

Vita isn't competing in anything.

You just destroyed his argument in the easiest way possible. Well done.

Very true, but were comparing the number of games here. As a gamer (or a consumer generally speaking), you're always better off with a larger choice.

And clearly the consumer chose the one with all those games, right?

You made this thread to just sit down and watch them inevitably fight, didn't you, Henry? Good job, you've tricked them all, not that it was going to be all that difficult to begin with.

As for the main topic of the thread, I'm not sure which library I prefer. Really just depends on the day of the week XD sometimes I like Vita more and other days I like 3DS more. Right now I've been into 3DS after neglecting it for 2 months

Pretty much any Vita discussion on this website is plagued with "no games" if that is addressed it's "no exclusives"/"inferior cut down ports"/"nobody wants to play indie shit". This is exampled perfectly in this very thread.

The reason I stated GameCube was because of the hate it back back in the early 2000s, not how it is viewed now. (It's amazing how time can change perception, the Vita will be viewed in the same light in 10 years time I'd wager).

The Wii U has a very positive image overall on here from the main userbase. Certainly far better than the Vita image. However as I find anyone hating on Vita is generally very ignorant and clearly has had nowhere near the hands on experience with the system that they claim, if you can't find software you enjoy on Wii U, you've got a very limited scope for the type of games you play.

I still rate my Wii U over my PS4.

I'll be honest, there are a good few PS Vita games I want, but I still have a lot more 3DS games. The Vita library is relatively small when you look at how many of their titles are of the niche 'otaku-like' genre.

edit: I am still interested in getting recommendations for PS Vita or PS3 games though.

I totally disagree.

Vita got a great library, and 3ds had a good one too till the end of 2013.

Was A Link Between Worlds the last 3DS game that really interested you too?

OoT 3D and MM 3D are exclusives and since they play so much better I doubt anyone wants to return to the original games.

The Vita-version of Grim Fandango plays so much better with its combination of sticks, buttons and touchscreen than any other version available. Grim Fandango = Vita exclusive confirmed!

Literally nobody cares about Grim Fandango.
