Whatever the other nominees were, this is potentially an opportunity for a bit of exposure for the game... Which is good news.

Wow...that's a pretty venerable series to beat.  That's a very good sign, IMO.

It is bundled in Europe, don't know about North America though.

Fallout 4 was not at PGW IIRC. To be a nominee, a game had to be playable at the PGW. I don't think Fallout 4 was playable (DS3 was playable?).

But anyway, the jury tried to give awards to "everyone" (that's what they said in a french newspaper), so they gave Uncharted 4 "best PGW game", but TR got the "best adventure game" for example. The Vive and the PSVR each got an award too... They had to give an award to a Wii U game too. I wouldn't read too much in the PGW awards...

Show me where, since Dark Souls 3 is an action rpg more than a full RPG, a fan of RPG will obviously prefer the only real RPG. There was no real other possible choice.

Fallout 4, the only other thing the most close from a RPG wasnt there, so that explains all.
