I'll just be happy for it to be released. but does look a bit off, like it kind of reminds me of a KH remaster but I guess that's the art style they're going for.

Is there a storyline reason that Roxas and Ventus are basically identical?
Honestly, we're people expecting photorealistic KH? What the PS4 should be working on isn't the textures that you people are complaining about, it's smoothness. Which, if you'll take note of Sora's clothing, it's working on.

Just look at the environments in the background, and the detail on those. That's where you'll more easily see the graphical detail, not on the characters, which it seems like someone are focusing on. It has a cartoonish artstyle, so it may be a bit hard to see at first, but the environment in the background is rather detailed.

SPOILERS
At the end of BBS, Ventus's heart is lost and his body is left an empty husk. Because all of the darkness in his heart was Vanitas and thus destroyed, no Heartless formed when this happened and his body remained instead of becoming a Nobody.
His heart found its way to Sora, who had the uncanny ability to harbor other hearts (this is what really makes him special), and took refuge inside him. When Sora's heart is lost and becomes a Heartless in KH1, the body that was lost still had Ventus's heart. This is why it took his form, why he had real emotions, and why he could wield a keyblade.
This is also another reason why he wasn't allowed to go to Castle Oblivion (aside from the possibility of meeting and remergingwith Sora), since his body was hidden there. If he stumbled across his body, it could have resulted in Roxas losing his keyblade and emotions when Ventus's heart went back to him.

Thanks for that info.
I think you're getting it wrong guys! The picture is just a bad spot/point of view/angle. I'm sure the same scene would look a lot better with a wider view. The foliage is actually quite detailed if you consider the "train" is probably in movement.
Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Pictures are broken for me.
Edit: And i agree with others here, those screenshots look horrid.

Better than what? It's a cartoon style game. You expect shiny edges or something? |
Guess you never heard of Sly Copper or Ratchet & Clank? No excuses for a game not to look beter cause of its art style.
