Sorry mate, but as far as i can remember, theres no other game that was cancelled for 360 while it was in development. So, your intervention in my post, fails hard. 

And personally, i think that Haze, will be GREAT.Either it comes on 360 or not. Which eventually it will come. Sorry to ruin it for you. There is no particular rational reason why Haze is not coming on PC/360 (since the code was already on works) unless Sony paid Ubisoft. Which i doubt. There are tons of reasons, why STILL nowadays a game gets cancelled on PS3. Kotaku and n4g and joystiq? Man, these are some serious journalism sources, LOL.

Bingo! Sony paid Ubisoft.
The game was originally set to be released simultaneously on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Sony paid Ubisoft and it was announced that Haze would be time exclusive to the PlayStation 3. Later it become PlayStation 3 only.

Ubisoft has confirmed that Haze is a PS3 exclusive title, and they explicitly have stated that it is not a timed exclusive. The logic is after all their own, but it might owe to many factors. Sony could have purchased exclusivity which in my opinion is highly likely. The title wouldn't fare well on either the PC or the 360. Where lets be honest the competition is stiff. That might also mean that they themselves feel the title is too mediocre to succeed. I think we will know the answer to that when the title is released, and we can read the reviews.

Prey X - who cares, with all the excellent games coming out?

Sure it might not be a great game, but who cares...

Its another PC/360 game that's not available to the PS3.

And also both Frontlines and Prey 2 are exclusive due to developers choice and could be ported to the PS3 at any time.

Nothing to brag about, other then more games in the 360 library

why you think Haze wouldn't fare well on either the PC or the 360? 360 had many FPS fans. I choose xbox because of FPS games. There are only few non-FPS games I like - Gears of War and Mass Effect for example. And what happen now? MS is pushing RPGs and Sony FPSs. Crap!

It doesn't matter what source it came from, the result was the same. Frontlines on PS3 got cancelled. And then, if you look at the forum posts about said cancellation, everyone started praising the game, yet a few weeks earlier when the rumor started that the game MIGHT get canned, everyone was like...."so what, this game wasn't even on my radar". Then full cancellation came, and everyone praised it.

I don't know about you, but I know I was looking forward to that November release, when it still seemed like it would happen, and so did many on VGC. Just check the posts on the game under the "Games" section, or scrounge around so older Sony Forum boards here. When it was thought to be timed, the PS3 fans were like "I'm really looking forward to this game" and the Xbox fans said something along the lines of "It's only a timed exclusive. We're going to get to play this great game too. It's just like Unreal Tournament 3"

I'm hoping this will be a decent game, because although it's not on the PS3, I do have a PC capable of running it. I just don't want to see this game get hyped up, and then disappoint

Though Ripten.com claimed earlier this week that forthcoming shooter Haze would be a PlayStation 3 exclusive for life, Ubisoft has stated that, in actuality, the game will be on PS3 only "for now".

Yes, the publisher has taken steps to clarify the situation by telling CVG that's it's not certain that the game will never appear on Xbox 360 or PC.

It could well be the case that Ubisoft is waiting to see how well the game performs on Sony's system before committing itself. Should it go the way of Unreal Tournament 3, then we expect the 360 version would hit the shelves fairly imminently.

BMaker11 I don't think i've ever seen anyone make as many claims without a single piece of evidence at all. If all these old threads exist then prove it.

Another FPS game that won't come on PS3? I would cry... but there isn't keyboard and mouse control, and also, the game doesn't start with R. ;)
