It's little comments like that that starts the small hype train, that only gets larger and larger "Its another PC/360 game that's not available to the PS3."

It doesn't matter what source it came from, the result was the same. Frontlines on PS3 got cancelled. And then, if you look at the forum posts about said cancellation, everyone started praising the game, yet a few weeks earlier when the rumor started that the game MIGHT get canned, everyone was like...."so what, this game wasn't even on my radar". Then full cancellation came, and everyone praised it.

I don't know about you, but I know I was looking forward to that November release, when it still seemed like it would happen, and so did many on VGC. Just check the posts on the game under the "Games" section, or scrounge around so older Sony Forum boards here. When it was thought to be timed, the PS3 fans were like "I'm really looking forward to this game" and the Xbox fans said something along the lines of "It's only a timed exclusive. We're going to get to play this great game too. It's just like Unreal Tournament 3"
Back on topic, as to not derail and turn into flaming argument:
I'm hoping this will be a decent game, because although it's not on the PS3, I do have a PC capable of running it. I just don't want to see this game get hyped up, and then disappoint
