Intelligent Systems have been pretty quiet on the console side, they have to be working on something.

They released Codename STEAM in March, Stretchmo in May and Fire Emblem in July and are assisting with SMTxFE which comes out in December, they have been pretty busy this year and I doubt they have anything else releasing soon, 2017 is probably the earliest we get a new project from them.

Hopefully 2017 since I'm not really that interested in SMT x FE.

The entire situation is speculation. I'm drawing the most logical conclusion from the situation. The Link model isn't an old Twilight Princess model - it's an emulation of old artwork in the form of a fully 3D model. That sounds like new promotional artwork, to me. Samus's model, on the other hand, is identical to one used for Metroid Other M - as in, completely identical. They aren't going to use an Other M piece of artwork for Other M 2, if Other M 2 ever happens. So it would have to be Other M HD, or something... but do you honestly think they're going to spend time remaking Other M, given its relative performance? And even if they were, there would be a higher-res model.

Granted it's one of the lowest selling metroids, it's still over a million seller, and isn't that far below the others. Could very well be the best selling with a re-release. And all those characters look low res, it was a low res pic.

It only reached those sales because price was cut to €5 mere months after release. I got the game for that price and still felt I paid too much. Other Metroid games retained their price. Nintendo would be idiotic to release a sequel or remaster of Other M.

Intelligent Systems has little to do with SMT x FE.

By "low-res", I don't mean the quality of the image, I mean the quality of the model. It still looks like a Wii model, not a Wii U model. The Twilight Princess Link model is far more detailed, and that's obvious despite the low quality of the image.

I think 2017 is possible for a new Paper Mario, hopefully the crossover with M&L is just a fun little experiment and not where the future of the series remains.

Exactly, Paper Jam is more of a Mario & Luigi game than a Paper Mario game.

I can tell you where you can get a good deal for Metroid Prime, around the same price.

Lol at the entire point of this E3 then.

I don't think Nintendo have been that invested in using E3 that way for a few years.

And did that deal exist mere months after the release of the game? No. Nintendo sold Metroid Prime for full price during much of its lifetime (if not all).

These were rumoured in the last two years:
Bayonetta 3
Diddy kong racing U
Paper Mario U
Super mario sunshine hd
Animal crossing U
Metroid prime 4
F-zero U
Excite truck U
Mario strikers U

And I'm sure I'm leaving some, as I've read plenty of rumors in the last two years.

I just want an Animal Crossing game in HD and I'll be so happy. Also Zelda of course!

Do you think that maybe one of those unnanounced games could be project guard or robot? I don't see them releasing a big title out of the blue but a small budget title could be.
But those "project" games have been in development quite a while right? We should have seen something by now. Are they still working on them?
