Where are those Vita EU sales coming from, its selling more than in Japan!

Population of Japan: about 120 million
Population of Europe: about 750 million

Also, Europe is Sony land. Always has been

It truly shows our great taste.

Hoping to see what those inbetween weeks were. I want to see how many consoles MGS/FIFA moved in December. Unfortunately the hardware by date tool appears to broke at the moment though

Indeed Ka-San. On the bright side, we do have numbers, so not all is lost!

Don't know if this has been discussed anywhere, but doesn't the latest Nintendo earnings report confirm that the Wii U is over-tracked here? They've shipped 10.73 million as of September 30th, so there's no way they sold through 10.5 million right? Also, I think 3DS is also confirmed over-tracked. 54.34 million shipped as of September 30th. Can't have sold 54.6 million.

Great points. Both are definitely overtracked here. WiiU by ~300-500K, 3DS by 1M or so.

Wii u isn't... Relax... 700k wii u on the shelves? Are you sure?

I doesn't sell on a pace  to have 700k on the shelves, and do you think that retailers want so much wii u  units on their shelves? Some stores have stopped selling it!

Plus that wii u isn't being sold in many countries of the rest of the world/smaller european markets!

Wii u has 60k stock in Japan... Shipments in Japan are 2.66m as of 30th of september and 2.87m europe+other, so the stock must be similar to Japan, let's say 80k, 60k+80k= 140k, in the Americas is at 5.21mm, double numbers of Japan so double the stock of Japan, 120k, 60k+80k+120k=260k...

Here it's at 330k, acceptable and reasonable! The overall is right, the only problem is that the breakdown of the sales per territory is wrong, shipments  show that's it's overtracked in the row (we have it here at 610k, near the numbers of the finals sales of gc, irrational given the global gap between wii u and gc, and the fact that wii u is being sold in fewer row countries ) and undertracked in NA...

It's not hard to think that wii u worldwide stock isn't high...

As for 3DS, yeah it's overtracked by 1m-1.2m and that it's confirmed long time ago, all it's coming from 2014 and the rest of the world numbers...

It should'nt be undertracked in the USA simply because ioi have the NPD numbers.

Is it possible that the Wii U is massively undertracked in Canada? The same way that hockey games are always undertracked in Canada on this site?

Sometimes taking 10 % of the USA numbers to have the canadian number does not work.

If it's not coming from Canada, Nintendo of America clearly gained some ground in latin america. But that's doubtful when we see that Nintendo keep losing ground pretty much everywhere else and that Nintendo officially left Brasil.

Well everyone, I think it's fair to see that PS4 is undertracked. 29.3million shipped as of September 30th, no way there are 3million PS4s on shelves and in warehouses.

yeah. PS4 had 1.5 million on shelfs after last years holiday quarter (using official shipped and sold through numbers from sony). why would it have more consoles on shelfs at the end of september? its majorily undertracked, by atleast 2 million.

PS4 is a monster here in Spain, the console is selling like hotcakes, Fifa 16 is a thing here. The Uncharted bundle for 349 euros has made the sales explode to God levels xD

The Vita is still strong too, Minecraft, Disney Infinity and the TV adds aimed to kids revived the console. Other games like WRC 5 or MotoGP are popular too in their niche.

Splatoon and Mario Maker are really demanded and the Wii U is obtaining recognition. I´m really happy to see this.

Crazy new software numbers

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m
