I have to admit that I also didn't expect it to be up tbh. Pretty good numbers!

Updated Sales Figures as of Sept. 30th. - Compared with my earlier predictions.

3DS:
Pokemon X/Y - 14.15 million - On the mark.
Mario Kart 7 - 12.19 million - On the mark.
Pokemon OR/AS - 10.69 million - Down by 10k, close enough.
Smash 3DS - 7.37 million. Way above by 370k.

Wii U:
Mario Kart 8 - 5.87 million - Up by 70k. Closing in on 6 million.
New Mario U - 4.88 million - On the mark.
Smash Wii U - 4.03 million. Up by 130k. Already over 4 million!
Splatoon - 2.42 million. Down by 80k.

Oh sh@t... Exactly what I was expecting!

And think that in FYQ3 shipments are getting doubled or more because of holidays...

Mario kart 8 might be at 6.50m+ by the end of the year!

Hm basically what I was expecting in regards to the Wii U. Nice to see Splatoon approach 2.5 million. Shouldn't be that much of a stretch to assume 3 million by year's end?

As for the 3DS, HHD looks to be doing well. And is keeping up a solid pace in Japan if Media Create is anything to go by. Sucks that we didn't get updated on any other numbers though :(
And I have to guess that Yokai Watch Busters is that "third party" 3DS game huh?
