then don't buy the game... All that matters to me is the quality of the end product...

(damn I have marketed unacceptably a lot for the past decade lol)

whats your point exactly? that companies should say there game is one thing, then give out another? and that it doesnt matter, as long as what ever game is out, even if its very different than they tried  to make it seem it is, is decent?

well it beats "them saying one thing, giveing another, and the game isnt decent" :p

But yeah... I dislike being lied too.

Doesnt effect me though.... dont own a xbox one, or the new Halo.

What?

Spartan Assault is a shitty mobile Halo game.

I actually liked that game. But I played it on 360 and X1, because most games are shitty on mobile.

I'll just say this, all the trailers for Halo 5 were misleading.

However, the actual story was still good and took an unexpected twist. Looking forward to Halo 6.

Well he's right AND wrong. The game actually revolves around the exact thing that we've seen in the trailers but for a very short while (like the first 6-7 missions) and then it evolves into another aspect of the story. The teaser was most likely to symbolize the journey he is taking in search for Cortana. But I do feel they should have explored the hunt more.

my point is i don't over analyze trailers since they are not supposed to be an accurate representation of the product but a marketing tool to make it as appealing as possible.... If I want info on a game I watch gameplay videos, vidocs etc... Trailers are there just to boost the hype train not to inform you on content... Actually I hate trailers that inform you on content they suck from any marketing stand point... It's good for car dealership, laundry detergent and basic stuff like that...

when I see gears of war trailer with R.E.M. Music brilliant CGI I don't give a damn if it's not exactly what we are getting in game.. But god it was a brilliant ad...

now when I saw the announcement trailer on halo with the desert video I got super hyped and don't expect halo to be a trek in the desert simulation but it was brilliant marketing... And lets not forget that it is suppose to be an announcement for the entire new saga not just halo 5.... So yeah no IGN is wrong then again to each their own specialty they have no clue about marketing And advertising actually most people don't even they believe it's easy..
