That's right. Sony unleashed the PS2 15 years ago which still feel like yesterday.

The PS2 is the best home console ever made! I may be bias since my top 3 favorite games ever are on it, Persona 4, FFX, and Dragon Quest 8 :3 other than that it had amazing games like a ton of SMT games, Persona 3, FF12, SotC, SO3: Till the End of Time, and many many others

Konami having their interview like being a company people expect to drop bombs with people behind them awaiting in expectation. Not sure if that's the case for Konami knowadays, people are more like waiting for them to screw up.

Sega President part:

Shoichiro Irimajiri president of Sega: "So far the sales have been very very well" speaking with that prudence saved him from looking bad now in the interview video. xD

Sega president: "We will survive..." wow, they did but listening to that makes me a little sad.

Unbelievable, a president of a company admitting that the rival company's console has better graphics... unthinkable now, unless the graphic importance is downplayed.

It sits on my desk on speaker and I'm currently playing Deus Ex/SSX On Tour/WRC Rally Evolved on it.
I jumped in last train purchasing it brand new in 2011 as my first console ever and short after that it was not available new anymore.

1) I could only play one game before it died of old age. I bought my PS2 very cheap years after my Wii.

2) Again, one game. It was Shadow of the Colossus though, so it was a great experience.

3) Goodnight sweet prince. Hello emulator.

4) I'll play its enourmus list of RPGs someday. I have a decently long list of games I already own that have yet to be beaten.

It wasn't discontinued until January 2013. Maybe it was hard to find new locally shortly after your purchase, but they were still available new and being made all over the place.
