I don't like the idea that some people have that the NX needs to be just as powerful than the PS4 and Xbox One.

It can't just match them, it needs to be MORE powerful than them. It's launching late into the generation when the PS4 and Xbox One have already had a few years out.

So does that mean when the next Playstation or Xbox console comes out the NX will only last a few years just like the Wii U because they'll need to make a console that's powerful enough again?

he was refering to recently annouced games all being fillers not what we knew was already development.

I hope that the handheld and console don't have exclusives to themselves anymore. There should be true unification. Being able to take the same card from the handheld to the console without missing a beat would be an amazing selling point. Plus I'll finally be able to play Pokemon on a console.

3 of those games are announced in January 2013, one is port and and one isn't confirmed.

Because of this unified things it's make sense that handheld and home console will be launch in same time. It will same games and similar marketing so its perfect to launch them in same time.

Give 3rd party similar power of PS4/XboxOne, give them similar architecture and they will port PS4/XboxOne games for NX without problem.

there was one GIANT hole in his logic about the NX release window. If the dev kits were just released, does he expect developers to make quality games in 13 months? I highly doubt it. 2 years for a decent title seems to be the norm. still points to a 2017 release imo. It's ironic too because he talks about filler games made by B teams then expects non filler games with a 1 year development window. oh kyle.
