I didn't know today was the 30th anniversary. Anyway, hopefully the NX does much better than the Wii U so more Nintendo consoles are made.

It means Sony recognizes the importance NES as a gaming console.

If we were to list the most significant and innovative gaming consoles in video game history NES would definitely be number 2 after the Odyssey followed by the Gameboy. Smartphones and Tablets would be number 4 for evolving game to an even greater mass that could have never been achieved before.

Every other consoles in between or after those systems were mainly evolution but should not be disregarded as less important such as Atari, Sega, Playstation, and Xbox since they also expanded the market as well. 

Shockingly companies care less about console wars than fans. This is how fans should act as well

Yeah well... I was a teenager in the 90's. I remember Sony ripping into Nintendo so hard that it would make SEGA blush.
