| StarOcean said: If you limit yourself to one brand you are only limiting the scope of what can be seen in gaming. You can be delusional and tell yourself you HAVE to buy from Company A in order to show your devotion and support. But at the end of the day Company A doesn't give a single fuck about you, even if you're a huge fan. Try what Company B and C have and see what they have to offer as opposed to A. If you don't like it, stay loyal to A. If you found something you like from B or C, great! I'll never understand the mental barrier people put in front of themselves that disallows them to enjoy other things outside the one console manufacturer. It only hinders their own potential enjoyment. In short, you can be a "true" fan of anything, even if you try other things. |
But if you buy more consoles you play less games on each console and miss out on all the hidden gems, because you play all these must have and blockbuster games from 2,3 or 4 platforms (including pc).
I play only on playstation and don't miss out on anyhing (I know very well what games are on pc, wii u or xbox) I can't or don't even play all games I may find interesting on one platform why should I buy a second or a third?
So this whole argument is bullshit that you limit yourself with one platform. Like this for example:
1 platform where you play 60 games on
2 platform where you play 30 games on each
3 platform where you play 20 games on each
....
doesn't make that much of a difference to me.
to the thread: Yeah funny thread I guess, hope he is not ernte.
