Rocket League's Single player is what you would call decent.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
Spemanig is right, you should try Bloodborne even if you didn't particularly enjoy Demon Souls.
It's From Software's forth game and they have perfected the formula. It's much better paced, the metroidvania style of exploration is better, the enemies and bosses are more varied and the combat is is faster and it even rewards the players impulsives sometimes.
I won't talk much about the story, but it's perhaps the most ambitious cosmic horror game. We've seen games before that were inspired by lovecraft's work, however they were just inspired, and Bloodborne, while still retaining the qualities of being an "action RPG", is a direct reinterpretation of his works.

Definitely better than Demon's Souls. I wouldn't go as far to say it's better than Dark Souls though. It isn't. But its way more accessable than both, which is what they where going for, and in that way, they succeeded.

The combat in Bloodborne required a much faster reaction speed, while Dark souls had a heavier and more methodical combat mechanics. They're quite different from what I have tried, but frankly, I prefer the more arcady feel of Bloodborne.

I wouldn't say that Bloodborne required a faster reaction speed at all, and I don't think Bloodborne it more arcade-y either. Maybe it's because I played Dark Souls dual wielding weapons, but the games have very similar combat. Bloodborne is just more accessable. Less weapons to think about and much less punishing of offensive play, which is what the Souls games were built around exploiting.
Bloodborne is the single best experience on PS4 (Witcher 3 fans gonna hate). If you couldn't get into previous Souls games, Bloodborne will be your gateway drug into it. It's much more "twitchy".
