Because this is never going to happen, I am prepared to gift this game to you and anyone else in this thread that plans to "wait for a sale". (It's £7)

No thanks.

Yeah, I thought so. It'd be nice if people were honest.

Want me to be honest with you? I dont want anything from you.

You say you want the game when the price comes down. I make the price zero. You don't want it. It's pretty obvious you have no intention of buying the game.

Got it a few days ago and I absolutely love it. I love the characters, the OST is fantastic and the battle system provides a feeling of involvement and works well with the type of story the game is trying to convey. It's able to invoke so many emotions in me and the short length and multiple endings give it tons of replayability. Probably one of my favorite games of the year.

It, like everything will be on sale on Steam by next summer (possibly even christmas). If I'm still interested, I'll pick it up then.

I only buy games I really, really want on Steam for sull price, and even during sales, I'll only pick up titles I actually have genuine interest to play.

I'm predicting a WiiU release seeing as how it seems to draw inspiration from Earthbound. I'll get it then.

Especially with how the combat and mini games work, would work really great with the gamepad.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

I've read that you really enjoyed Earthbound, so it must have been a real treat for you to play a game that was heavily inspired by it. Undertale certainly made me want to go back and give that old series a go.

I think Undertale is one of those games that you have to experience without any previous knowledge about the mechanics or the hidden choices that you could make. Though honestly, I wouldn't have tried it if I didn't know that you could actually talk to talk to the enemies you encounter instead of 'killing' them. I'm a just a sucker for silly games that have these small types of twists.

I finished it.

What a game! Everything is so... Perfect. The story was deeper than I thought, the characters are very adorable... And I have no words to describe how great the soundtrack is.

No doubt, it's my personal GOTY.

Yeah, it does feel similar to Earthbound, though I wouldn't say it's a reason I like it. It came up a couple times when I played, such as "Hey, the interior of houses look similar to Mother 3" and the dialogue is very witty too.  The thing about Undertale is that everything is done with excellence and you can tell a lot of love and care went into this. The soundtrack is excellent, with music that is very catchy and gets you addicted. The characters are great and interesting, becoming characters you like almost instantly. Even enemies have personailty to them. The battle system is great, having a big variety in its mechanics and pretty turning the whole genre on its head. When you feel something may be becoming stale, it introduces new ones to you, and eventually mixes them all together, really testing your skill. There are some mechanics that are unique to enemies, making for some really exciting moments. One particular moment feels like you are doing more than just a fight. There are very wonderful moments that makes you laugh, feel in danger, and even very sad. It even makes fun of certain iconic moments in games. Also, it just plays with your mind and kind of digs into your thoughts...

This game is just beautifully crafted from beginning to end, and almost no moment in it is wasted. I cannot recommend it enough.

It does play with player's expectations and some very known gaming convensions. It keeps itself interresting by shifting it's tone. I know I called it charming before, but it actually has a very disturbing layer.

Speaking of disturbing things. I'll start my genocidal run today.
