There are no races in humans.
A race is defined as being a group that are of the same species, but are genetically different enough that if you took a person from that race, and compared them with someone from the same race, and a different race, they would be more genetically similar to the other individual from their race.
However, in humans, if you take a white person and compare them with a black person and a white person. Theres an equal chance that theyll be more genetically related to the black person as to the white person. White people arent genetically similar, they just have the same skin pigments. They only share a few genes which determine certain physical attributes like skin colour and facial structure. They dont have any other genes in common. |
==> I see ur point.
I dont want to give an ultimate answer, because I m not sure of myself.
So I will just ask a question :
are u sure of your statement :
"""if you take a white person and compare them with a black person and a white person. Theres an equal chance that theyll be more genetically related to the black person as to the white person."""
any evidence ?
Because as far as I know, in addition to some physical differences, people dont share the same succeptibility versus desease (geographical situation ? education ? OR genetic differences ?) and also dont share some genetic tag (u can make genetic test to check from where ur lineage comes from).
For me, black people are genetically closer to black people and white people are genetically closer to white people (as a brother is closer to his brother than to his unrelated friend)
I think it is sufficient to think human races could exist.
