That would be fantastic, but do you think they'll release two Zelda games for Wii U in one year? I'd buy them both in a heartbeat, but I'm just not sure they would. And I am not in the camp that believes they're just going to keep pushing Zelda U back until it's exclusively ported to "NX".

Well we have this year two Zelda games for 3DS.

And we have 5 Zelda games for 3ds in general. None of them are real new LoZ, actually.

Why port wii games which have like a million copies sat on second hand shelves when the Wii U is BC? Shit don't make no sense to me

*Cough* Grand Theft Auto on PS4 and Xbox One *cough*

Same thing as the Wii U. Except Twilight Princess is almost 10 years old.

It deserves a remake, not just a simple port.

Your post makes no sense to me at all.

Sounds like an HD remake for Wii U. Thats good. If its anything like the WW's it will beba considerable upgrade.

That game could use shinier graphics and better flow systems. It was very easy to lose your way, especially if you stopped playing for a while. I ended up never beating it because of that. Hopefully they stremline the experience a bit.
If its Zelda's 30th anniversary then its not surprising at all that they are doing it. I dont think Zelda U is going anywhere either after they have showed so much of it already.

I hope they fix a lot of the issues with it and not just add lens flare and bloom all over the place. And, add extra content, too.

This is very likely port, but even if its HD remake, dont expect any extra content, we didnt see any extra content in any of recents Nintendo remakes.

By that, I meant stuff like what we saw in Majora's Mask 3D. The improved bomber's notebook, the C-nub controls, the map.

Though, I really want more content than just that to arrive in remakes - I'm sure that Aonuma had regrets that he didn't put something in Twilight Princess due to the Wii port.

I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

:3

I don't know what to think of this. I hope this will turn out to be just a port to WiiU's Virtual Console, instead of a fullscale remaster.

Not that I don't want that to happen someday, Twilight Princess is amazing, but for now I don't see the point yet. The game is not yet old enough and is still playable in it's original form on a current gen console. At the very least they should wait for the next generation where they could take better advantage of newer hardware to add more than just a resolution bump.

The 8th generation already didn't do the image of the franchise any good if you asked me with too many remakes and such a thing as Triforce Heroes while Zelda U continues being a no-show.

ALBW is a new game, Tri Force is also new but in same time spinoff.

Potentially a HD remake of the GameCube version (standard button controls, no mirrored overworld) as part of Zelda's 30th Anniversary. Would also help pad out Wii U's release schedule in 2016.

It's entirely possible there'll be a 30th Anniversary push, with Twilight Princess HD in the first half of the year and the next new Zelda launching at the end of 2016. It might even launch as a cross-platform, NX launch title. Or, there is always the possibility that Zelda U won't be ready in 2016 and Nintendo are pushing Twilight Princess HD out as cover. It's TP's 10th anniversary next year, as well as the big 30th for Zelda as a series, too.

It's also possible that all these possibilities won't be realised

I really can't see Nintendo delaying Zelda U two years in a row, I think if they really wanted and little speed up things we could have Zelda U this holiday season like they stated in December.

Go Nintendo! Keep on with remaking the entire franchise! How needs new games when you can keep on remaking?
