Which one do you think it is?

HD Remake 231 57.18%

Port to eShop 126 31.19%

Nothing 47 11.63%

New Link's render can be related with it.

Being a yearly franchise should have been done ages ago if this is what we would have been in for.

The series has only missed four years since 2000 -- actually, only two years in North America. In fact, for North Americans the series had an 8-year run from Majora's Mask to Phantom Hourglass with at least one Zelda release each year; this beats its current 5-year streak (extending to 6 next year).

I've considered Zelda a yearly franchise for a while now. I count 20 releases since 1998, a span of 18 years.

I hope its a remaster

I can take five more Zelda's this gen, at least. Every single Zelda game released this gen has been well recieved. All. Of. Them.

Ocarina of Time 3D? Everybody loved it.

Wind Waker HD? Everybody loved it.

A Link Between Worlds? Everybody loved it.

Hyrule Warriors? Everybody loved it.

Majora's Mask 3D? Everybody loved it.

Tri Force Heroes is already being very well recieved, do that won't be different.

And Zelda U/NX is going to blast the lid wide open. People can take plenty more Zelda.

Nobody's asking for remakes of any of those games outside of GX. Nobody cares. TP is the most requested Nintendo remake now by far since MM3D was revealed, so people won't get tired of Zelda. As far as I'm concerned, this has been, by far, the best generation of Zelda. Being a yearly franchise should have been done ages ago if this is what we would have been in for.

Lol wow.  If you wanna group Hyrule Warriors with all the other Zelda games its one of the worst reviewed Zelda games of all time if not the worst, everyone doesn't love it.  Tri Force Heroes has not been very well recieved can't believe anyone would say that lol.

Hyrule Warriors owners love the game and TriForce Heroes has been indeed very well received for the media, previews are pretty positive.

When a 76 on metacritic is what contitutes as the worst, yes, I do. People who own it loved that game. I may think Splatoon is poor, but I'd be a sore loser if I wasn't able to admit that it's been incredibly well recieved. Same goes with HR and same definitely goes with TH.

Potentially a HD remake of the GameCube version (standard button controls, no mirrored overworld) as part of Zelda's 30th Anniversary. Would also help pad out Wii U's release schedule in 2016.

I'd also point out that Nintendo experimented both with Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword HD before settling on Wind Waker HD: http://www.polygon.com/2013/9/11/4714758/nintendo-tested-hd-graphics-for-two-other-zelda-games-as-well

Given how muddy the textures in Twilight Princess are, it'll be interesting to see (if true) what kind of remaster we're looking at here. Nintendo did have that fine looking TP style tech demo in 2011, after all. Also worth pointing out that Aonuma didn't work out other HD remasters.

It would be nice if it was a HD "remake" ala WWHD, I would totally buy that. However, it is more than likely just a digital release of the Wii version on eShop.

For that matter, if they WERE to do an HD TP game, I would vastly prefer they remake the original GC version, and not the tacked-on motion controlled Wii version.

That would be fantastic, but do you think they'll release two Zelda games for Wii U in one year? I'd buy them both in a heartbeat, but I'm just not sure they would. And I am not in the camp that believes they're just going to keep pushing Zelda U back until it's exclusively ported to "NX".

Well we have this year two Zelda games for 3DS.
