I'm fed up of forum users over-analysing comic books. They're just pictures and words that don't have any deep meaning!

That term should be rephased to: Cheap company that won't pay for the hours. A lot of times it's because the company sets a date. Because they allocate this much. Or they don't give a shit how hard making a game is. A suit is a suit. But the game really needs this. Because of the hours needed to make it work 100%. The workers don't get the hours. So the game releases in some low accepted want level from consumers. The company then bitches at them. They caused their own problem. Arkham Knight rings a bell.

"PC gaming is expensive"
"PC gaming is only for nerds"
"PC gaming only has MMO's, MOBA's and RTS's"
"PC gamers are all filthy pirates"
"PC gamers never pay for anything"
"PC gamers wait for everything to come to them"
"PC gamers have no AAA games"
"PC has no games"
"PC only has indies"
"PC gaming has a smaller audience"
"PC gaming is dead"
"PC gaming is niche"

That's about all I can think off the top of my head from various trips to youtube, to other forums and sites and here of course.

And yes they still continue to be said daily by misinformed folk.

When some people says "Nintendo makes the best games" like it's a fact. I can't imagine how annoying it is for people that dislikes Nintendo if it is for me that I like their games.

Oh, and nx related stuff used to bother me, but now I'm like.. meh, whatever

Thief games aren't horror games, but they can have scary levels: in Thief III Deadly Shadows, Robbing the Cradle was a very scary level, and unlike other levels in the game, that despite not bad, show that they had to be split in two parts during late parts of development, in The Cradle they managed to blend almost seamlessly that flaw with the plot, at least in the first part when you explore the outer part of the orphanage/asylum for the first time, before starting the generator. Return to the Cathedral in Thief I The Dark Project was quite scary too, and the whole series has scary moments and levels when played at maximum difficulty, which makes more of the essence to avoid detection, pushing the players themselves to increase their tension. In the series, only zombies suddenly awakening are pesky scare jump moments, and they are almost universally hated by the fans (so that they were almost completely removed from the second game of the series, while in the third they have very little space).

You should of said "My hipster detector is going off". It would of fit the situation well.

When someone says "i guarantee you" and its followed up with somekind  of weird prediction :p

Probably not as common as people saying that PC gaming is superior and has overtaken console gaming,

Oh yeah, I almost forgot the most important phrase I'm sick of seeing... when comparing sales numbers, people always use the highly encompassing term "win".  It's trite, inaccurate because it generalizes such a bigger picture and only serves to help people climb on pedestals.
