I don't understand the hostilities here. Nintendo have enough games that wouldn't lose its control when it is converted to mobile, and considering how they were making game since DS/Wii Era, I don't think they will just stick virtual direction pad and be done with it.
Depends. If they made their own phone with physical buttons, maybe. If they were just making games for your run of the mill touch screen only smart phones, then no.
Nope, not going to happen and I wouldn't follow them anymore. The mobile thing will be just some minor games, like the Pokémon app-game-thing they announced, to grab more cash. Sony used to do it earlier too.

Hell yeah. I moved on to mobile for handheld gaming years ago. It's just not practicable for me anymore to have TWO dedicated systems. And when Nintendo is releasing games on ios, you know they're going to be good and not junk like candycrap.
If the NX's mobile side is a handheld/gaming phone then I am 100% on board. There is no room on the market for new homeheld consoles, the next portable device from Nintendo has to be a gaming phone. If Nintendo has any hopes of capturing market then they have to steal it from somewhere.

Handheld market and mobile markets do not overlap, are not the same, and there is absolutely no way in hell Nintendo's making a successful smart phone.
