The psp shortage is no suprsise to me, there online store is always selling out of the core version of the psp.

Also, if there truley is a $50 price cut for the PS3 and Xbox 360, then I expect a much larger boost of sales from GTA 4 than I first anticipated.

Doesnt surprise me. Lets see what comes out in the next 6 months. Mario Kart Wii, Wii Fit, WiiWare. Possibility of Wii Music, Tales of Symphonia, Fatal Frame IV, Monster Hunter 3, Disaster Day of Crisis, Rock Band, Spore, etc. This isnt even counting any unannounced games or sleeper hits that may be coming.

If there would be a shortage of Wii untill september it would probably last through the holiday season as well. :S

Maybe they expect the US economy to tank. After all if the US economy tanks the amount of money people are willing to pay for games is going to drastically drop for some people.

Handheld's would see a jump in general, and the PSP would likely get an even bigger boost due to it's pirateability.

Besides the PSP is great. Maybe they expect a huge Crisis Core boost.
