There was an effective $50 cut off the Destiny LE bundles at Target. Tempted, since it is a nice looking alternate color white console, but unfortunately, I'm not playing Destiny and have no intention to start playing it, so I'd be paying $350 for a nice looking 500GB white PS4. 

you could sell the Destiny game that comes with it.

Any good reason why sony wouldn't have waited till the week before halo's release, or at least until mid October, to announce this??

Seems it was the perfect thing to announce within a short time frame before halo 5.

Practically, a whole month of increased sales versus just a week's worth. It also eclipses any marketing done by MS for halo.

I want to draw attention to something I believe is being overlooked by every single site. Go to the link I've provide in the OP and read the article carefully. They only use the word 'dropped' and never use the price '$50'. Even the headline isn't what you call a click grabber. Now take a look at the bundles this reduction in price has effected. Every single one of them contains a game (roughly $50 - $60).

I think Sony are preparing a $100 price drop if necessary and they're hiding it under these bundles and the ambiguity of the way they're presented the information. They're already losing $50 on every one of these bundles and so they'd lose nothing more if they offered just a PS4 at $300.

Complete and utter domination if that's true. Wow crazy to think if that happens.
