Looks like the OP is right. If it is indeed a price cut and the other retailers follow through this may pose a problem to XB1 supposedly october npd win. I wonder if MS will also made their own price cut.

Sony will probably use PGW to announce the price cut and maybe some news regarding PSVR price or release date.

Also wondering if Sony plans on starting their greatest hits lineup for ps4 soon. Kinda surprised they haven't already.

Might as well mention it here. The PS4 has had it's second biggest sales week in Japan, so less than 55k but by how much? Does anyone know what the second highest is currently?

edit: Someone's mentioned 46k - 54k so I'm assuming the second lowest was 46k. Perhaps 50k for this week?

I don't think price cuts only happen when a console isn't selling well. The price has to be cut at some point. Sometimes they cut the price to keep the momentum up, and grow the install base.
