- Variety has confirmed with the network that they are indeed in early talks with Zack Snyder for a possible DC Comics Watchmen adaptation to TV series

- HBO said in a statement Thursday:

“Preliminary discussions regarding ‘Watchmen’ have occurred but we have no additional information and no deals are in place,”

- Warner Bros. which owns the DC Entertainment declined to comment though "insiders" confirm the involvement of the studio with the project

Unless it is retelling the story I am not sure where they can take the story as was self contained.

So it's just gonna be 12 episode mini series? Or are they gonna make stuff up. Then get fans pissed off.

It should have been a series to begin with but I wonder if true conversion can ever be done. There are many that might not even understand the finer points of it all or the ending.

EDIT: Also, does it look like the pant on Manhattan in the first picture are really badly photoshopped on is it me?

Oh, but people forget that Before Watchmen was a thing that happened.

If you want to include every issue. And assume one issue per episode. That makes Watchmen a 4 season show, in 12/13 eps chunks. Or a 2 season show of 24/25 each.

There are some things here and there that could have been done better but I consider Watchmen one of the better superhero films. :D
