Xbox really doing that final surge like I thought it would before halo releases. It might just get the sales it needs this week to win the month now.

I just realised that the OP used a slightly different approach to the asterisks, so I'll be adopting the same format from now on. Bundles marked with a '*' will be bundles that DON'T affect the current month. If I forget, please remind me (nicely) :)

I know. Does anyone know if the monthly sales only updates every certain # of days? |
Nope, they should update every day.
3 hours since last update:
#15 PS4 Nathan Drake Bundle (same)
#22 XB1 Halo Bundle (up 1)
#28 PS4 Star Wars Bundle (up 1)*
#35 PS4 Black Ops Bundle (same)*
#65 PS4 Star Wars Standard Bundle (up 1)*
#68 XB1 Gears Bundle (down 1)
#86 XB1 Forza Bundle (up 1)
#87 PS4 Destiny Bundle (down 2)
#88 XB1 Halo Bundle Standard (same)
#91 XB1 Madden Bundle (up 2)
*Does not affect this month
PS4 - 6 bundles, 5 in the top 100
XB1 - 13 bundles, 5 in the top 100

It would first have to pull ahead of the uncharted bundle

You're making the mistake of following the daily updates when they're only to give us an idea who won for the month. They're only just for fun. What matters is the monthly figure and currently the only bundle ahead of the XB1 is the TLOUR bundle, which has been behind the Halo bundle for quite some time now.

Uhh. sorry for my simple logic but when a PS4 bundle constantly sells more than an XBox One bundle per hour/day, it naturally follows that over the month, the PS4 also sells more than the XBox One (or reduces an existing gap if there is one "in the wrong direction").

The Uncharted Bundle is behind the Halo bundle which is catching up with the current leading bundle (TLOUR bundle). The gap was much bigger between the Halo bundle and the out of stock TLOUR bundle, so the Halo bundle will be catching up with the TLOUR bundle much faster than the Nathan Drake bundle, which has only been about 2 - 8 places ahead of the Halo bundle. It's going to be close.

I know, but, with the current install base, the previous sales figures might very well indicate a smaller volume of units moved. You did bold my true sentiment on this: 3M seems very possible, but it would be unfair to expect it to perform at the level of its predecessors, which had so many advantages. |
We can look at halo 3 which sold a lot on a 15million userbase.
With only one week left of NPD tracking, i'm going to comfortably call the month as a PS4 win. Halo 5 bundle hasn't done anything to slow PS4 sales across all retailers. It has consistent been ahead the entire month except those 2 days where the Halo 5 bundle got above it at bestbuy. That didn't last too long. Amazon showing PS4 selling more hourly which should translate to the monthly when it updates. TLoU bundle is out of stock (in stock at other retailers though) so it's probable that the Halo 5 bundle will have the top monthly position, but the Uncharted bundle is picking up its sales and so should sales from other stores. This is what i meant by looking at the whole picture because Amazon might not reflect what's really going on sometimes.
But yeah. I'm going to call it now.
