NDC bundle back above Halo bundle.PS4 has this month obviously. How ironic that Master Chief is not the main character so he is not there when MS needs him lol.

I dunno, perhaps people are deciding not to risk delivery delays so instead of ordering online they are chosing to head down to retailers and put the console in their hot little hands straight away so there is absolutely no way they will miss the midnight kick off. Also if you get the console today then you can pre-download the game well in advance. If you buy today and use free 2-day delivery then it's at least 2 days before you can get the download going.

Perhaps rather than seeing this week between hardware release and software release as having a different sales pattern that would see H5 stay higher in the rankings it should just be regarded as more or less the same as any launch. The peak is the launch day and then things drop of slowly from there. If the bundle does start going back up in the next 2 days then it will basically be following that typical release sales pattern.

They are haeading down to retailers to buy PS4s as well and the Halo bundloe is limited which means no matter how much it sells it will not make up for the lack of sales for the other bundles.PS4 has 3 skus selling well this month while Xbox has 1.

Wow ps4 is not selling that great right now on the hourly chart for October ps4 bundles (i.e. not the Star Wars and cod bundles). This is esp surprising considerin the price cut. This is what I was worried about with Sony dropping the price so long before halos release. I thought it would've been way better to do it 1-2wks before halo 5. Now the price drop effect is waning.

Btw, has Sony advertised the price drop at all?? I don't have cable, but I spend a lot of time on the internet and have seen not a single ad talking about the price drop. Anybody in the US have any insight on whether tv commercials have been playing?

The reason could be the Destiny and TLOU bundles are out of stock. I think that's helped the NDC collection get well into the top 20 but if the other 2 were in stock, they would all probably be in the top 40. 6 out of 6 bundles in the top 100 is pretty good though, even with stock issues.

Oh they're out of stock?? That explains it then. I was wondering why both of those bundles suddenly dropped like rocks on the hourly charts. Darn it, Sony! Don't ruin this! Get your stock up!

On a different note, I'm sure retailers have been stocking up on ps4s for weeks in prep for the price drop. The fact that Amazon is out of stock maybe indicates sales were even better than expected?

Most interesting month ever since Titanfall month

It was the month I joined the site.

A LOT of people eating crow after that month NPD when PS4 actually beat the "PS4 killer", some people were going as far as saying that would be the comeback point to XBO in the USA and even globally and it would dominate the market aftet that.

Also the reason we got the Globally in the US gem.

That was quite the agitated period here xP

lol yeah. titanfall was the reason XB1 would start outselling PS4 in the USA. ahh that NPD was great!

this month is crazy, i really wonder who will win. pricecut vs halo. but PS4 has a lot of sales taken away from it by the two starwars bundles and the CoD bundle.

so how long as the two starwars bundles been on sale? and the CoD one?

Star Wars available to pre order since September 11 and cod since September 22 for the US.

And it will be the same this month. The Titanfall bundle was higher than the Halo 5 bundle the whole time it was available for pre order.I don't get why people doubt that Sony will win this month and actually dount Amazon's track record. They just can not believe Halo 5 will not be enough for some odd reason.

What a crazy month the turning into. Uncharted back above halo. But with the Best Buy and GameStop trade in promos going on, Amazon may not be telling the whole story.

Going to be near impossible to predict this month.

What promos? I haven't seen them

Don't have time to link but Best Buy is offering $150 towards an Xbox one with trade of PS3/360 and GameStop $100 off with trade of PS3/360. Both have to be the newer or newest models I believe though to qualify .
