I dont think it has the target audience like the Vita did.

Since the answers are pretty balanced, I decided to add a poll. Now we'll see whose side is the strongest cause I'm honestly in doubt too. :P

I don't think so. It's not making much noise really. Being a port of an old game doesn't really sell something very well. I think it'll manage half a million tops.

Even though it's a budget title I don't see it happening. It had almost no promotion and after playing it I can't full heartedly recommend it either. It certainly looks stunning and is full of charm, yet there's so much hand holding it becomes a chore to play. It's great when it lets you explore for a bit yet those times are in the minority. Pretty much the same as Puppeteer that I never finished. Stop the blabbering and let me play.
The constant taking control of the camera got on my nerves too, and is a bit nauseating with the (deliberately) low animation speed of all the elements on screen.

As for my kids, it keeps their attention for about 15 minutes before going back to Minecraft.

I still intend to finish it some time, although I haven't touched it since mario maker came out. Might end up like puppeteer, still intend to finish that too...

Having played it I couldn't tell you.. There are parts where things have been obviously added on, but apart from them nothing stood out as blatantly new except for one level. Granted my memories pretty shocking. 

Don't think it will outsell the original. It's price is already dropping quickly where I live and forum hype was low. 

I believe it will just because of install base.Knack is already about two million.

So far the poll points towards a positive way, but most responses are negative ones. Why is that? I'm a bit puzzled here. I'm very curious about its performance, hopefully NPD reveals it cause VGC will take some time...

Sooooooooo... according to VGC, Unfolded sold only 16k on its first week globally. The original Tearaway sold 59k on its first week. I'm afraid my prediction won't come true: it's looking like the original will still remain at the top. This is so not fair...

I hope so, the game is great and deserves the sales it is not getting at the moment.

Maybe a 19,99 black Friday deal will make it sell.
