I'm just glad Japan is showing even a little interest in consoles. Since Nintendo is going to monopolize the handheld market soon; it's nice the see AAA Japanese games will have a home on PS4.

hmm.... I'll stick with that 20k prediction. Maybe more.
I know a few people myself that got / are getting one after the price cut. All but one of those people had PS3s before, so I don't think it's winning many new people over, but good to see the market is there.
No troll is too much for me to handle. I rehabilitate trolls, I train people. I am the Troll Whisperer.
My thinking for 55k is in the previous two weeks we've had approximately 10k less in sales. It's usually around 18k a week. So 18k+(10k+10k of people that waited)+ a price drop boost of 15k.
The PS5 Exists.

The question is, can it sustain a higher weekly percentage with the price cut? Does anyone know what games are releasing this month and next month in Japan?

I'll never understand why foreign journalists think going to the biggest stores in downtown tokyo will make their coverage accurate. It just doesnt, and not because it makes the sales look higher, infact it's the exact opposite.
When pricecuts happen, its online sales and local electronics stores that pull in the big numbers, it's a work day for crying out loud, people arent likely to get on a train and ride the 30 min to 2 hours just to buy one in the big stores when every single mall or gaming store across japan will stock them too.
All you end up getting is a skewed account of sales from the people who nipped out of work at lunch or after work to get one on the way home, most other people would have simply bought online to be delivered to their home or local convenience store, or will pick them up from their local stores on the weekend.
It's all very well and fun t do this sort of coverage, but understand that any sales figures you get from it are going to be inaccurate as hell.
they will be no price cut in america this year! since if they were planning to do it. they wouldnt have bundles for $450 for november. (call of duty) intead they would have sell the bundle for $400 if a price cut was gonna happen.
the only reason phil spencer said that he sees a price cut in america. was to hurt sony sells. since he knows the media would publish it making "SOME" gamers doupt buying a ps4! (wating) until a non existence price cut

yeah I guess that's the way it would have been since MGSV is not having particularly great legs, ok but not great.
I cannot imagine toilet-free life.
Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.
