We're 2 months away from the game's release and we don't even know if it has an online mode. Unless this has been confirmed at E3 or on a stream, this game is looking pretty bare bones.

It seems like none of the official sites confirm an online multiplayer functionality. It's almost like they're avoiding it, listing even the most trivial information, like the ability to move your character, and fighting against family, friends, and CPUs, but not an online mode. This is a feature that, if it's in, should already be confirmed by now. The game has the NN logo on the case, but even games with minor online functionality use it, like Wind Waker HD. Maybe I'm missing something extremely obvious. In that case, feel free to call me an idiot. If this doesn't get confirmed, I'm not buying this game. Some of you don't care about this game and weren't buying it in the first place, but I'll probably join you soon enough.

We will find out int he next direct. But if i does ill buy it if it does not then i wont buy it.

I don't recall ever hearing about online... but seeing games like Mario Party 10, I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't

the last tennis game had online i think, on 3ds? or am i completely thinking of another title lol

The one thing I've noticed about Nintendo games as of late is that they won't tell us much info initially.But then, a trailer released later on down the line shows us all the stuff we've been waiting for, or some new stuff that makes us want the game even more.

But to answer your question, no I don't think that online has been announced. And it would be a hugely missed opportunity if it ends up not having it. 

Yes it did but it was only regional. Like how im in Australia, and i could only verse Australian and New Zealand Players.
