Konami does need Kojima for a new MSG to stil be MSG.

It ll still be called MSG, but the "heart" of the game will be something else.

I didn't know Kojima was a cook? But what does Mono Sodium Glutemate have to do with Metal Gear Solid?

I think they can do a much better game without Kojima. In fact, I think Kojima was holding the franchise down. But yeah, people will likely trash the game because his name won't be there.

I think MGS doesn't need Konami. And to put it another way, I don't think Konami even deserves MGS after how they handled MGSV. Luckily I don't think there's less and less room for Konami to mess up the series anymore after MGSV.

Couldn't disagree more.  MGS4 is still my all time favorite, and Peacewalker/MGSV are WAY better than the old ones.  MGS3 had the best self-contained story and dialogue though - no doubt.

Konami can make MGS game if they find the right person, and if this person dont try to be Kojima. I think the biggest mistake any director of a game or a movie is to not think by themselves and starts thinking " what would kojima do? What would Tarantino do". This turns the final product into a bad parody of it would be if it was made by the original director and will ending representing the worse side of the real director. Its necessary for people to understand that kojima is kojima, if he dont have how to somehow get his hand back in the game, its better to let his unique style go.
