No, because I never get hyped for anything.

I was pretty hyped, but it kinda died down by the time it got released.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
I can safely say my level of hype was lower than any other console/handheld release in history for the WiiU.
Not even close. For any of the consoles this gen.
None of them launched with worthy games imo

Yes. I was psyched. I also got a whole load of their good launch games that I hadn't played before hand. Well worth the purchase actually.
I'm a little sad at the bit of a drought that has been happening of late, but it's a good system in general.
Still a few I plan to pick up and likely enjoy. Or at least hope to, Devil's Third is in that list lol.
I don't regret the purchase.
Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.
I had zero hype for the Wii U. You could smell it was a bad idea from the start. I was hyped by Super Mario 3D World and the promise of more games, so I bought one. Big mistake. Without an exclusive Zelda, it's not even deserving of existing. If you have a 30-year old pattern of Zelda releases, you don't break it. Plus, a lot of the games Nintendo released are budget or kiddy. Even kiddier than on the Gamecube or Wii.
Was, mostly because of Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed and Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper.
But it was the first HD Nintendo console, so of course I was hyped... But also sad because it was the Wii's retirement, so much fun with it.
Not even a little bit. It took over a year and a big sale to get me on board.
