Something else I'd like to see is a community page where you can post your level to a community. Would sure make level sharing for a site like this so much easier.

since most of you mentioned the things I've wanted as well, i'll just add the tanks which SMB3 has. tower like stages with pipes like in world 7. big world meaning you are designing a big level, like a big question block, which would give you 3 1UP mushrooms like in world 4 in SMB3.

but the main update they should provide is checkpoints.

- Check points
- Slopes
- More themes (desert, snow)
- A lava and water "block" to add them to the other themes that can't have them now
- Angry Sun
- More enemies like charging Chuck and the dinosaurs from Super Mario World
- a graphical style that makes it look like you're playing on a gigantic gameboy screen
- ^ To go with that, maybe Super Mario Land 2 assets and enemies? It's the only 2D Mario game I have nostalgia for
- More bosses

This game is crying for a multiplayer mode that supports 2-4 players. Would make an awesome party game just watching a bunch of your friends trying to get through a level together that you made.
