Forums - Sony Discussion - Verendus - FromSoftware Have Two More Exclusive Games Coming To PS4

Absolutely fantastic... Next year is looking so amazing already and 2017 is filling up nicely. The Playstation division seems to be full of excellent people, full of passion for what they do.

Personally it really brings me back to the PS2 days....
That Nioh announcement made me very reminiscient of Onimusha. From Software are just fantastic and I hope they show us something new each time if there are 2 new games on the way.

Armored Core, Armored Core, Armored Core, Armored Core....PPPOLLLLLEEEEEAAAAASSSSSEEEE!!!!!

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

I hope Sony just ends up buying Fromsoft.

Kadokawa would hardly let it happen.

Sony need to approach Miyazaki and build him a team into Japan Studios, like team ICO, same with Kojima.

Getting this two guys there would be REALLY good for Japan Studios.

NO, that wouldnt be good... it would be OP... Naughty Dog would have some serious competition for best first party studio if that happened.

Hey I want Sony Japan to rise as much as the next guy (their output for a 400 man team has been abysmal in the last few years, but it looks to be getting way better), but they don't have take away key people from successful (Miyazaki is From's president dammit) third party studios that are willing to work with them anyway. As long as no other first party specifically makes a deal with him you can expect all Miyazaki games to come to PS anyway, so no reason to take his other multiplat tiles away from fans on other platforms.

Kojima is a different story, but for him they should put someone on his side to check and actually fix his writing. Lol

Probably 2017 and 2018 games.

I'd say 2017 and 2019...

I'm sooooooo over the Souls games.

I want a spiritual successor to OTOGI and another TENCHU(I think they still own the IP)

Every thing is possible and anything i am gladly accept, but i hope something new.

I hope it's not bloodborne 2, this game isnt made to have sequels, it's an unique story with unique world and unique feature, the blood feature in an other story would be weird.

I prefer an other game, maybe not even a Bloodborne/souls like but something new

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Definitely. Bloodborne feels better as a standalone experience. I mean, I guess they could do it like Souls and instead of a different realm or time, just pick a different town and reference the first game super lightly, but that feels like such a forced way to go about things for a game that really just isn't as fun as the Souls titles. The Souls formula for game creation is getting a little bit stale too, imo. Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, and Dark Souls 3 for one formula, and Bloodborne sticking close to the main formula with an attempt to prioritize speed over active defense. I'd like From Software to show me that they're more than a one trick pony at this point.

From Software has more IP than a lot of people know though, and with their surge in popularity, there is a golden opportunity to take one of their good, but underappreciated IPs and make something great.

I haven't played Bloodborne yet, but I'd honestly prefer three completely different titles.
