This screenshot shows an updated look at a pre-rendered cutscene in the game, which is definitely not possible via emulation, so we can rule out any PC emulated HD screenshots out of the equation here. The product listing states “brand-new HD screenshots” for the game, and Final Fantasy XII has only been released on the PS2 so far.

Also threadly reminder that FFX-x2 HD featured more than higher res texture, with models revamped and orchestral soundtrack.

Maybe I would give xii a new chance if it is the zodiark edition and on HD. The original one went down really dry in my gut, I only finished it because I paid. The game plot starts exciting but them it just turns into a search for those magical artefacts, the Espers being useless as fuck, the board system for unlocking new abilities makes that after sometime all characters just gets equal. They say the gameplay and levelling part is fixed on zodiark job system edition.
