Hey everyone.
My kids are dying for an Xbox One and I want Battlefront. Personally, I'd rather get the PS4 battlefront bundle, but all my kids uncles/cousins all have Xbox1's so it makes far more sense to go that route. Game library is largely identical anyways.
Couple of questions that I just don't remember the answers too and too lazy to research.
1) Can I buy one Live subscription and have any number of live login IDs or is it like X360 where you had to pay the yearly live fee per account?
2) Do any of the controllers come with built-in li-ion batteries or must I buy some damn battery kit?
3) Anything I should watch out for? Waste of money? I'm not buying a kinect.
4) 500GB or 1TB? I do plan on doing mostly digital so I'm leaning 1TB but how easy is it to change out the hdd?
5) Any rumors or ideas what the holiday bundles will be?
6) What are the current set of features (OS and network based) that Xbox One offers?
6) How well does the in-house streaming feature work? Can you pay 2 or 3 local player on a Win10 PC?

1) Despite what others have said, you do NOT need to buy multiple XBL subs. You purchase XBL and then you can nominate your 'home' Xbox (which is your first XB1 by default). When others log onto the console, they automatically share your XBL Gold subscription: http://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-one/xbox-live/xbox-live-gold-sharing-features
2) You will need to buy regarchable battery back. Having said that, the XB1 controllers last a LONG time. When I first got mine, it took about 1-2 months for the bundled batteries to die (and I was playing it a lot).
3) Not really. XBL is the only thing you need in addition to the console. XBL will give you access to games for gold so even if you don't have much money to spend on games that will keep you occupied. If you already have XBL Gold, log onto Xbox.com/Xbox 360 and claim your games for XB1 before their redemption period expires. This month you get the last Tomb Raider game for free.
4) You can very easiliy purchase a seperate external HDD/SSD/HSSD and use that as your primary installation device. Running externally, over USB3 is also faster than the built-in SATA II connection (same for PS4 but PS4 does not have external access yet). Having said that, I would stretch to the Xbox One Elite if you can because the OS itself is installed on a hybrid drive and it comes bundled with the Elite controller.
5) We already have most of the holiday bundles - Xbox One Elite, Halo 5, Forza 6 etc.
6) I could be here all day - go to http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-one :)
7) Watch some YouTube videos of people testing it. Overall the experience is very good. Personally, I would avoid playing via streaming if possible. This isn't a criticism of MS's implementation but the delay incurred with streaming, although barable, frustrates me. Most games will work fine but fast past games like COD, Halo, Forza etc are not the best experiences.
