Not really. Star Fox was kinda important to get good holiday sales for the Wii U. This is quite disappointing. Still, Xenoblade is enough for me, and hopefully this will encourage as many people as possible to buy it. They'd damn well better make Star Fox incredible good though.

It will be incredible. Even without the delay.

Since Platinum games is co-developing Star Fox and they have done online before (Bayonetta 2) I have a feeling they are going to integrate that into the game. They can do that if they plan to release say mid feb.

Otherwise I think they are mainly going to work on textures (like the grass, which looks awful. But the water and mountains look amazing)

Not really, you can't really call a single game a 'lineup'

is the single game youre referring to yoshi, guitar hero, xenoblade, devils third, fatal frame, animal crossing , or mario tennis?

Not the best but not the worst either

[3DS] Winter Playtimes [Wii U]

Surprised that no one cares to discuss how Super Mario Maker will likely leg out AMAZINGly well over the holiday. 2D Mario is as big as, if not, a bigger IP than Mario Kart. It's the very soul and essence of Nintendo, and likely gets the biggest promotion and marketing long-term of any WiiU game yet.

Also consider WiiU will likely have some YoY growth in casual franchises (Skylanders, Lego, Just Dance).

High attach rates clearly convey that the likes of MK8, Smash, and Splatoon are also still pushing the hardware.

Strong digital releases like Fast Racing NEO and Runbow likely are helping the WiiU get interest from hardcore gamers too.

All signs point to a record holiday.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Worst E3, worst holiday line-up.
It's funny to see people here still excuse Nintendo.

Let's be real...It's bad. We were supposed to get Star Fox and Zelda! I mean the games they are releasing are not big games. Xenoblade will not sell like a Star Fox or Zelda game. Every other console is getting many HUGE games.

i doubt Star Fox would get the numbers XCX have. i don't think its bad. Nintendo can spread and put XCX on Star Fox's release date.

You're probably right that Xenoblade will sell more than Starfox would.  Spreading out the games more leads to a worse and worse holiday though

Playing Xenoblade 2 before I buy Xenoblade 3 (otherwise I couldn't wait to play 3).

Can they announce a new Fire Emblem? A remake of Genealogy or Tellius would suffice !

NoA:

Yoshi Wolly World (US only)

Just Dance

Guitar Hero

Xenoblade Chronicles X

Fatal Frame V

Devil's Third

Mario Tennis

not the best lineup, but would still sell.  I can only see Devil's Third selling poorly due to low scores and negative criticisms.

Nope. It's one of the worst i've seen from Nintendo

Xenoblade Chronicles X, Fatal Frame V, Yoshi's Woolly World (US only), Fast Racing Neo, Mario Tennis and AC: Amiibo Festival are more than a single game though. ;)

Granted, I'll likely only get Xenoblade Chronicles X from that list (already got Yoshi's Woolly World), but I'm too busy with Super Mario Maker right now anyway. And I was never planning to get Star Fox: Zero anyway.

Only MS has a decent exclusive holiday blockbuster line-up this year.

It's only decent because Nintendo and Sony have mediocre holiday 2015 planned.

But i do agree, by far the best lineup of the three, just remains to be seen if their 2016 will have any steam left in the chamber, even if they do its unlikely it'll be enough to compete with nx / ps4 2016
