No. The dark part of the Wii U is just for the outside. The actual box looks like this. The same bright blue as the rest. Sadly, only Japan has the cool dark blue. :(

You can say that you're not interested in the extra content of the limited edition. But it's not expensive at all.

That being said, I'll miss the USB Drive that the americans will get. It looked awesome.
