Exactly. While this is certainly not a good practice if true, it also could be some sort of glitch. Since I have not seen news of this anywhere I will reserve judgment until then. Hopefully not true, though, for the sake of Destiny players.  


Perhaps and hopefully this is a bug and will be patched, yes. But looking at the publisher I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't a bug.

And no, there are no news. It is forum threads like the ones on GAF that generate these "news". It wouldn't be the first time that it'll go "GAF -> Internet -> GAF".

I would not be surprised either. I am hoping for the sake of Destiny players it is not true. And I am well aware of GAF and the way information can sometimes break through it regarding gaming news. Not sure why there was a need to point that out.

Wow I thought this had to be BS but multiple people seem to have reported this as well... I've never encountered anything like this. Unless this is all one big misunderstanding it's absolute, unbridled horsedookie.

Seriously, that'd be outrageous. Hopefully this was a mistake and they update it.

Is this confirmed? If not OP needs to change the thread title, other wise its just spreading FUD and should be locked IMO.
