Well, yes, but not nearly as much as Destiny. Big reason for that is the marketing budget, genre and online multiplayer focus.

Honestly this DlC is underwhelming as fuck.The story is about 6 missions long and playing the same old stages,unbelievable.Do not fall for the hype,this is not worth $40.

I played over 6 stories missions already and I didn't even started the Strikes plus there is a Raid to be unlock on Friday.

that may be true, I haven't played it so I won't comment on that but it's also true some people thought gamers weren't playing the game anymore and just with a couple of additional expansions, gamers are already on it again (that's assuming they really left in the first place).

I am sure its fun and all. Just really quick to run through as many streamers have been saying. You really love to tell the world about Destiny. Never cared for the game. I'll just be playing some dota until all the big games come out.
