I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to say "A Link to the Future" would be a lazy title. I'd prefer something different.

As for timelines? *shrug* I just want want it to be a good game, and live up to even some of it's potential.

Skyward Sword is first game in Zelda timeline and its full of like they said "Ancient Technology", with robots, machines, lasers and other advanced tech things.

So no, Zelda U isn't Link To The Future or some futuristic thing.
