Forums - Sony - What aspects of the PlayStation Ecosystem would you change or add?

Hardware: I want dual antenna wifi on the vita and ps4, l2/l3/r2/r3 on the vita 1 or 2 rear usb3 ports on the ps4 back for thumb drives and dongles.

Software: Remote play on PC and android (fuck apple) without having to use the hacked xda app. On all devices, fix remote play to pass through the mic from the ds4 or have audio link straight to psn while remote play is active.

That last part I couldn't agree with more.

Consoles should not receive hardware upgrades with new sku's it kind of fucks up the point.

Console revisions receive small upgrades/downgrades every time. Adding more RAM to a new PS3 SKU would allow cross-game chat from the PS3.

I would have them add a butt load of servers so their entire system doesn't go down all the time. That was my only real complaint when I owned one, aside from running out of cloud storage for saves. After awhile, I just couldn't justify paying for an online service that goes down constantly.

Lol... constantly. Pretty sure you never had a PS4 based on this post and your overall post history.

@OP I could give a fuck less about AC. Wireless N is more than anyone not on gigabit needs... the real NIC changes should be adding a 5ghz antennae and supporting dual connections in order to prevent packet loss and get the slightly lower latency of 5ghz. Also, you will NEVER be able to buy PS Now games unless you require the $15 sub to access them. It makes zero financial sense and also forces support indefinitely.

Well when i googles psn down i found out that it was donw 4 times in july.

This doesn't mean it doesn't go down. Likely you have been lucky enough not to get hit by the down time.

I wanted to buy a Vita tv, but since it doesn't support any streaming service (Amazon, Netflix or now TV) I couldn't find a good reason to do it. Sony definitely should try to get more apps for ps TV.

The Vita TV should have EVERY streaming service including PLAYSTATION VUE!!!   If it did it would be the ultimate streaming device.  Honestly Vita TV is the perfect example of when Sony fails:  Amazing concept, amazing hardware, and insane potential.... followed by ZERO advertising and one or two big shortcomings that completely hold it back.

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:
