Forums - Gaming - Ever forgotten you bought a game?

Allow me to join the Steam parade and say that going through my Steam collection always brings surprises. Most recently I was surprised that I bought Deus Ex: Human Revolution, you know, the PC version that is better than the other PC version. Legitimately surprised. I was asking when exactly I bought it. I'm sure next time I browse Steam, I will be surprised once more.

Saw Stanley's Parable on some sale and thought it's really cheap so I almost went for it but then I saw it was already in my library. It's hard to keep track of games with all those cheap bundles that come out every day.

I once found out that I had, in fact, already bought LBP 1.

Yes. For example, just recently I was browsing through my Vita and completely forgot I had bought Freedom Wars when it was on sale

It happens to me all the time.

I have a habit of buying games I never play. >.>

When I was a child I would get 1 or 2 genesis game a year (like my christmas and aniversary money, I was born january 6th) and I could buy 1 or 2 old games (games that were selling for less than equivalent 10 dollars)... so I treasured all the games I had and when I rented games were so Happy... now I buy like 10-20 games a year so I get a little lost, and most of the free games on PS+ I end up not playing.

Exactly. lol.

I think it's a great example of having something too much=not always a good thing.

Yep we could say 'too much games" problem. But on the up side I rarely stay more than 2 weeks without playing if it depends on me. Back them I would get bored and would stay out of playing for months.

With steam sales, all the damn time.
